What are you thankful for this year?
With only a few days away, Thanksgiving is another holiday most of us can’t wait for. Who doesn’t love turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pecan pie? Mmmm, all of it sounds just about right for a time like this.
However, let’s keep in the mind the real reason behind this holiday. Besides the feasting, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on and be thankful for all of the good things you have. It’s often a time to spend with your most loved ones and share a special moment together.
Here at MySurvey, we’re thankful for all of our members. Why? Because their opinions matter. We’re grateful for all the time and dedication everyone spends on voicing their thoughts through our surveys. :)
But to whom or what are our MySurvey members thankful for this year? After taking a poll, family and friends was the number one choice amongst this question. Would you think differently? Health came in second, followed by life’s challenges and career.
Breaking it down further, more men than women chose health, life’s challenges and career as what they’re thankful for this year. It’s no wonder women are so nurturing when it comes to family and friends. :)
Most importantly, who will you be spending Thanksgiving with this year? Probably the most obvious answer, but 70% did say their own family, while 11% said their spouse’s or significant other’s family. Why not with everyone though? The more, the merrier!
Who would you ideally want to spend Thanksgiving with? After all, a celebration isn’t one without the right people in it. I think we can probably say the same when it comes to food. :)
Traditionally, women have been the ones to cook in the household, but times have changed. Who will be cooking for Thanksgiving this year? Mom, dad, siblings or grandparents? Well, for most it seems like mom will still be running the kitchen this year. For dad, his chances seem very slim. Only 6% said their dad will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner, but 27% did say other relatives would be in charge of the kitchen. How about you?
We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
